Imagine someone is pulling on all sides of your heart.
And imagine your heart is made of taffy.
It stretches wonderfully: a way that lets you feel every inch of pull before it breaks.
You might gasp in pain or try to stay the pain with a hand o'er your heart, but no; soon enough you'll feel it.
It's hollow, like when you're hungry, but just over where your heart lives.
It's actually a black hole; it sucks everything into it; it threatens to collapse your chest.
And if you breathe out, it might not let you breathe in again.
