heart burns

burns bright

bright sun

sun light

light waves

waves rise

rise above

above I

I, stunned

stunned, still

still, silent

silent strikes

strikes, burns

burns heart

So clever and well done Paul. Also, has your challenge started yet? I can't find it and I'm looking forward to it!!

I really like this style that you use with the repeating word! So creative, pal! Such a great piece and your author's note made me LOL!

  • This has to be the best Author’s Notes ever! Lol. Loved this format and your poem! 🍩🥐

  • Elegantly accomplished.

😊👏You love your word play don’t you! I usually just take some quick-eze when I get heartburn, but you like to make semi tautograms about it! Each to their own.😆

Loved the play on words here. It felt like a game of connect the dots that reveals a hidden picture. Well done!

I may be mistaking your intention, but my reading is valid as mine, and this feels like a poem of rejection in my heart.

Reminded me a bit of word association in such a cool way :)

  • Very fluid; I quite enjoyed this poem!
