Healing.

…..a prayer poem.

By Marvelous MichaelPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

They say he heals, but I think not really.

Not here, he doesn’t.

Our sins made him unwilling.

*

And please, this ain’t no blasphemy.

I’m just trying to make sense of this healing assembly.

Worship in truth, so here is my truth.

And I apologize, if it seems like such a lie.

It’s all I’ve got up there in my meady brain circuit.

*

But where does affirmation stop?

When does healing begin?

And how quickly?

*

The uncertainty gaps widen.

We try to fill the gaps with words of affirmation,

Words of faith

Interceding together as a church, as a nation,

but take a moment to look around.

Healing is far gone from around us.

*

So God, here is my prayer.

I’m going to be done with the fronting,

the complaints that blinds us from seeing the way.

*

Come to our point of need!

What is it that you need?

*

No one else but you can save us.

You did the making.

So nowhere else can we get true saving.

What do you need us to do

for your healing to truly move?
