Healing

A poem of hope

Shattered pieces of my broken psyche

Like a severed porcelain cup, shards

Scattered over the filthy floor.

Impossible to see it all,

I gently pick up a piece.

A jagged, sharp piece of me,

I clean it. The tender words of my counsellor

Encourage me, though tears abound,

Kintsugi begins.
