Stand firm in your beliefs. Michelle Liew

A man refused to budge for the King.

"Bow," he said, "I own everything."

The man stood firm, not moving.

Storms came, kings fell, time flew.

The kingdom fell fast.

The man remained---

Unyielding--

Never

moved.

I like that you chose a nonet to tell this story. The diminishing lines really emphasize the fact that he stands alone while the kingdom falls.

  • Yes, we should never let anyone bully us. Loved your poem!

That's the way to do it - stand firm in beliefs. Loved your poem, Michelle!
