He
Spoke the
Word
No one
Yet had heard
Waken
To his voice
Lost in the noise
Can you hear
Its sound among
The careless chatter
Meaningless memes
So many endless
Themes, so little merit
Quickly forgotten
In the shallow water
Of these dark postmodern days
So very few believe
The ancient myths, the pathways
Of old-fashioned women and men
Did they hold the secret then
So hidden from our present view
The clue we have today forgotten
In this our near-perfect milieu
Humility is king forever
And knowledge learned by ever small degree
When creature questions the creator
In whatever truth it proclaims to find
Understanding lacks enduring memory
Present in every moment in time
