He Loves Me , He Loves Me Not
A poem on reflecting: my own special intake on the classic "he loves me, he loves me not" (ya' know...with the flower petalsπ)
*as I wrote this "he" transformed into many different people & experiences from my life. it became oddly cathartic in the best way , the "he" is only a mere expression. so I invite you to replace "he" with someone or something else and see what it unfolds for you*

πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
as I
bring light back
into his dark days
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
for
I only stay
after it rains
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
being the breath
to his suffocation
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
since
I yield
my allocation
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
I am not afraid
of the depths
in his ocean
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
as I
begin to sink
in his
crimson potion
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
my heart
serves as
the beacon
to his conquest
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
since
I collapsed
at his feet
from the despair
of neglect
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
as I
only see
him for the good
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
since
I ask
for more
than I should
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
never
changing
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
as I
am
elevating
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me
as I
remain
astray
πΌπ»π₯ He love me not,
for
I have found
a new pathway
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
my
plastic
patience
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
since
my
unfiltered
cadence
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
as a
shiny
new
trophy
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
since
discovering
I'm
worthy
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
following
the
rules
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
as I
have stopped
doing what
I'm told
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
as a
way to
keep me close
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
for
leaving
with
no
remorse
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me,
for
shining
my
light
πΌπ»π₯ He loves me not,
for
blinding
his
eyes
