Hatred you show to me
Once lovers now we’re enemies why?

Hatred you show to me
The hatred oozes from your mouth,
What did I do, what caused this doubt?
Once, your words were warm, they shone,
Now they cut—I feel alone.
A wall has risen, thick and tall,
I reach, but you don’t reach at all.
The silence stings, it twists the knife,
Were we ever side by side in life?
I strain to hear what’s left unsaid,
But all I find is grief instead.
Tell me, is this where we end?
Or were you never quite my friend?
Your voice is sharp, your gaze is cold,
A stranger in the space we hold.
I search for warmth, a trace, a spark,
But only find the growing dark.
Did I misstep, did I misread?
Or was I just a thing you’d need?
A passing thought, a name erased,
A shadow lost without a trace.

A poem that shows that not everything works out like we want. Good job.
