Love

By Marianne MondragónPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In the rhythm of life, a gentle beat,

The song of existence, melodious and sweet.

A steady pulse, a symphony within,

The heartbeat's cadence, where life begins.

Like a drum, it echoes through our core,

A constant reminder of life's grandeur.

With every thump, a tale it weaves,

Of resilience, passion, and what the heart believes.

In the womb's embrace, it starts its dance,

A tiny throb, the spark of life's advance.

A lullaby whispered, a love-filled refrain,

The heartbeat's rhythm, a tender domain.

Through childhood's laughter and moments of glee,

The heartbeat accompanies us, wild and free.

It quickens with excitement, a vibrant sound,

A testament to joys that we have found.

In moments of love, it skips a beat,

A fluttering sensation, both tender and sweet.

A syncopated rhythm, an affectionate call,

The heartbeat's language, speaking love to all.

Through life's challenges, it holds its ground,

A steady rhythm, resolute and profound.

In times of sorrow, it may ache and weep,

Yet, it carries the strength for us to keep.

The heartbeat, a lifeline, a steady guide,

A symphony within, a constant tide.

So let us cherish its delicate art,

The rhythm of life, etched within the heart.
