That makes you sit down and eat.

Makes you feel good from your hair to your feet,

It’s okay to accept your dietary defeat.

Lots of sweets, fruit and shaved ice,

Mixed with milk and ice cream is nice.

If there is more, you can have it twice.

If you’re hungry: have it thrice!

If you want to feel the Filipino mood,

It is best to know it through our food.

With all the ingredients you must include,

Halo-Halo is delicious I must conclude.

And alas the pleasant taste and sweet fume,

Makes us forget the withering gloom.
