Spooktacular Reading

By Paula RowlandsPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Do You Dare Go Out?

Zombies walking, skeletons talking

Ghosts gliding, people hiding

Goblins gobbling, monsters hobbling

witches flying, clueless dying

Evil reigning, blood draining

Spiders climbing, death rhyming

Devils Pairing, clowns scaring

Reaper creeping, Mummies sleeping

Chucky dreaming, Halloween screaming

Spirits churning, bonfires burning

Werewolves howling, villains prowling

Vampires sucking, bone chucking

Frogs brewing, guts spewing

Spooks meeting, flesh eating

Pumpkin smashing, throat slashing

Feast pending, life ending.

I Smell Death

I smell Death or perhaps formaldehyde the Olfactory sense knows and detects Cyanide

Strange Odors linger since being so unwell a deathly dark un-ease that is what I smell

Choking as I breath chemicals fill the air has my time come? death doesn’t care

Yes, I smell the Death Vapors rise within It won’t be long now decomposition does begin.

White Witch

I’ll admit I’m a witch, I like to cast spells a bewitching Goddess, with rings & bells I can be charming, enchanting & more tempting, entrancing, knock on my door

Enter my home of candles & cats have no fear, there are no rats my magic is good, positive, precise I’ll boil a brew; I promise it’s nice

I practice my witchcraft, my mystical fun I attune to the moon, but don’t mind the sun I manifest, I desire, I create & I write I’m much like you, but a witch by night

I play with herbs, essential oils too I try to pour goodness into all that I do a white witch at heart, not out to deceive I heal where I can, in my craft I believe.
