Halloween Night
A scary thrill trick or treating

On Halloween night, the moon glows bright,
Kids in costumes, a whimsical sight.
Ghosts and goblins dance with cheer,
As laughter echoes, drawing near.
But wait! A ghost rounds the corner, with a grin,
Wearing a switch in its hat—let the fright begin!
It sways and it shivers, its presence is stark,
In the shadows it lingers, a flicker in the dark.
Pumpkins smile, their candles flicker,
Sweet treats waited, hearts grow quicker.
“Oh, what a sight!” you gasp in surprise,
Not a friend, but a trick, filling hearts with a rise.
Winds whisper secrets, stories untold,
A night full of magic, both warm and bold.
So, when night falls and shadows converge,
A ghost with a hat can lead to a surge.
Under the stars, with thrills in the air,
Halloween’s wonder mixes joy and a scare.
In this spellbound moment, surprises take flight,
For Halloween's charm fills the crisp, dark night.
