Dear Daphne, my dryad dream

Identifying spirit, we are one and the same in different spheres

Speak to me like you do each afternoon

Tell me again the tale of the towering Oak

Ready, I am, to dance in the eternal greens, nuances of healing

Abhorrence for romantic pursuance, you and I prefer to just be

Craic; joy in nature- freedom found is forlorn not, frolicking forever

Transform me, please; take me with you to the woodlands

Inquiries, my inquiries to the forest, speaking Elven, Sylvan, Common

Oft, I long to be with you; blend me in with earth-tone hues

Nearby, my Apollo hunts; unlike you, he always catches up to me
