I'll play Barbie you play Ken
Till we're in for dinner
The dolls melting on the hood
Melding with each other
All day becoming one with the Jeep
A liquid pool of plastic
Dripping through
Greasy inner workings of the vehicle
Onto grey concrete
Totaling the off-roader
Irony leaving her indelible mark
Reveling in the beauty
Of what we've become
Sometimes you only get
One short play date
In the blistering sun
One perfect interaction
Fueling an empty tank
To ride the coast in one go
Until the sun sets
The bags are unpacked
Parting evermore
