Check your circle
If they know all you that know
Ask yourself how will you grow
Knowledge can flow like a cool breeze
Changing directions can knock you to your knees
Having you to question all that you know
Without trials how will you grow
Time and pressure may cause you pain
The precipice of life is how you will gain
Ponder the why’s and wherefore
No one gets a preview of what life has in store
Just as happiness is the opposite of strife
You must be bold and brave to engage life
Sitting in a boat without oars how will you row
Such is life without challenges how will you grow
After each stumble in this life we begin to fret
No one builds a boat thinking it won’t get wet
Knowledge is not taught the way it use to be
Society plugs into learn on YouTube university
Why go to school when you think in your mind
Everything worth learning can be found online
The entire world made to feel less alone
Everyone’s neck at the same angle staring at their phone
Knowledge is infinite like counting the raindrops
That fall upon the sea it’s all there for you and me
Take stock of all that you have come to know
If you are no longer learning how will you grow
