My mother taught me to
Grow Boldly.
Do not shrink yourself to fit.
If you think you must,
You are not where you are meant to be.
Like the flower that strives
to bloom between the cracks,
Grow Boldly.
If you have outgrown your container
do not choke on your own roots.
Find another and replant yourself.
Like the young zebra
taking their first clumsy steps,
Grow Boldly.
If you have a hill blocking your path
do not worry who is watching.
Any awkward step is progress.
Embrace your Embarrassment.
Heal in your Humiliation.
Draw on your Discomfort.
Grow through your Goofs.
Stand out,
be you,
and
Grow Boldly.
