Fearlessly unafraid of the dark;

Unexpected goodbyes however, unnerve me

Do me a solid, lemme close my eyes

allow me to turn around

Cause the thought of watching you

walk out of my life gives me goosebumps

Unbearably I’ll hang your love confession

like another skeleton in my closet

Next to my unworn date night outfit & stilettos

You’ve worked so hard to become a skeleton

in the gallows of my pasts closet

so I left the bi-fold doors cracked open, just enough for the living dead in him to walk through

Grieving the living, with the death of who you were is anything but quiet
