I remember when.

I remember when we danced and played.

I remember when we laughed and smiled till the sun set.

I remember when you taught me the how’s of the world.

I remember when you taught me how to fly on my own wings.

I remember when we danced and played.

I remember when we laughed and smiled till the sun set.

I remember when you taught me grief and loss.

I forget the way we sang and laughed.

I forget the sound your voice sings.

I forget the curve of your smile.

I forget your face.

I forgot.

I want to remember again…
