Grieve the slain, grieve the lost

Grieve the blood that isn’t yours,

Grieve the home, grieve the dream

Grieve those hearts that once beat.

Grieve the child with tear in his eyes

Grieve the life that just lost its light,

Grieve again what you grieved last night

Grieve for those who have no one beside.

Grieve the life that could have been

Grieve the freedom shackled for centuries,

Grieve for dead and alive without soul

Grieve for soul crushed by war.
