Love is heavier when someone leaves this world and you bare the burden of its weight alone. Tears are memory filled, little drops of heartache. The brightest and happiest moments become coated in a dulling, sorrowful film. Loss of a loved one pokes holes of pain, carving out your insides. Eventually, the pin holes are ripped open with the uncontainable size of overbearing anguish. Longing and woe overflow and flood the soul; drowning all other thoughts and emotions. The single mission of time is to pull at the already loose threads, snatching away all chances to crawl from your bottomless abyss of bereavement. More days that pass means the harder it is to go on without them, yet the less time until you see them once again.
