I desire all your time, all the time
Your friends cause me insecurity
I hold a grudge against them
Because I have to share you with them
I’m envious of your love for your family
I want all your love for myself
That cat of yours, I resent
Especially when he is purring in your lap
I’m suspicious of the men you work with
Distrust
Mistrust
I’m discontent that I have to share you
I react out of spite to people close to you
You make me anxious when you leave me
The green-eyed monster has come out to play
Jealousy
Jealousy

A very real portrayal of this intense emotion. 👏🏼
I had a relationship similar to what you described in your poem. Let's just say it didn't last that long after they showed up standing at my car when I got off of work one day just to ask me a silly question, lol. Thank you for sharing a poem that deals with the irrational aspects of jealousy.
