Green eyed adventurer.
So many connections are made in green.
The great outdoors.
New life.
Depth.
Fresh spring air.
Raw.
Growing.
Lush wilderness.
Adventure.
Green.
I am green. And I love green.
Green like deep murky waters. Green like a garden with rows of sprouted seedlings ready to flourish in the black soil.
Green.
Something knew this love for green and put it inside me. Even filled my eyes with green the way I love to fill my eyes with the sight of it.
Two dark green rings encircle my irises like gates meant to keep the brighter greens and flecks of yellow that dance like field grass penned in, there, around the fertile soil of my pupils.
Or are they more like green ponds? A plug has been plucked from each now causing the waters to fight against gravity as they swirl and splash toward their end.
Either way these eyes of green are teeming with adventure. Ready for life and eager to disregard the dangers ahead as long as they get to take in the delicious wilderness.
And even though the one contained behind these green eyes is just as green, a hopeful tenderfoot, she’s ready.
Ready for every bit of green.
