Green Dragon ....Identity
The colour of green is certainly not obscene
It happens to abound in nature all around.
The shades from light grass blades of green
Through to the darkest sea depth ever seen.
As the crops grow through the ploughed soil
The farmer smiles at the greening from his toil.
Bouquets of many fresh pretty flowers each day
Are framed in various green leafy sprays.
Dragons come in many colours and personalities
And their attitudes have many irregularities.
The green dragon that i feel myself to be
Is very calming and naturally likes to fly free.
A unique and green scaled creature
Who could easily become a national news feature.
Dragons have been maligned and feared in ages past
But this unfair reputation is just a total farce.
I know in the depths of my green dragon heart
That with greening care for others then peace can start.
People who say the world should not be ugly and mean
Should forget the unicorns and identify as a dragon in any shade of green.
