Gravitation

Breathe in deeply and exhale

Whilst you move to your heart’s content.

Lie down and slowly stretch

Until your body is at ease and spent.

The comfort, the swiftness, the joy

Of that which we call home is unified

And felt deep within as we spin and gravitate

Until our soul releases a happy cry.

Moving, yearning, and learning

All we can in our short span of time

It’s a gift more wonderful and more diverse

As it all comes together in a perfect rhyme.

This is home and this is our life,

Freedom divine and universe sublime,

Bring me to the precipice of life’s dreams,

Fill me with what innate beauty creates a home

As I ebb and flow with life’s all-surpassing gleam.
