i will die wanting you.

i will breathe my last breath

with your name on my lips

the taste of you still lingering on my tongue.

they will bury me in the graveyard of regrets

where the wildflowers wilt.

Here lies a life unlived.

you could be my forever

but I scatter the ashes of that dream

in the oceans of my longing

because my heart is sewn together by sloppy threads.

it will crumble in your hands.

i will spend all my waking hours

in the embrace of your ghost

and I will kiss your lips good night

even if only in my dreams.

Here lies a heart that was too broken to be opened.

RIP.
