I am grateful for my life each day,
for my warm and loving home, I pray.
I'm grateful for a body so strong
it carries me with health along.
I'm grateful for the words I weave,
the money earned, the dreams achieved.
For laughter from my grandsons dear,
their shining smiles I hold so near.
I'm grateful for my husband's care,
his steady love that's always there.
For sons we cherish, heart and soul,
their happiness, our greatest goal.
I'm grateful for the sun's bright gleam,
the rolling waves, the flowing stream.
For blossoms blooming, soft and sweet,
in gardens where the seasons meet.
I'm grateful for the paths I can roam
through Kew's bright gardens, far from home.
Thank you, universe, for all you send -
Your endless gifts have no end.

This made me smile. Such a wonderful poem!
Lyrically grateful. I'm just curious. Why did you break your rhythm on the line, "I'm grateful for the paths that I can roam" where eliminating "that" (& possibly "can") would have kept the rhythmic flow? Did you intend the interruption or am I simply reading it wrong?
Great job on being a grateful person who is also a person who likes to share what is happening.
You do have a lot to be grateful for in your world. Good for you. I too am grateful for my family, new job and a few other things. Good job expressing all these.
