Grateful to the Soldier

Beneath the sun, beneath the rain,

You bore the weight, you faced the pain.

With courage fierce and heart so true,

You stood for us, we honor you.

Through battles fought on distant lands,

With steadfast will and steady hands,

You risked it all, your life, your soul,

To keep us safe, to keep us whole.

The freedom that we hold so dear,

Was forged through sacrifice and fear.

Your strength, your valor, your noble fight,

Has turned our darkest days to light.

We may not know the trials you faced,

The sleepless nights, the endless chase.

But in our hearts, your name’s engraved,

For every life you fought and saved.

The flag you carried, high and proud,

Flutters now above the crowd.

Its stripes and stars forever wave,

A symbol of the brave you gave.

So here we stand, with heads bowed low,

In gratitude, we let you know:

Your service, soldier, will never fade,

For peace and hope, your price was paid.

Thank you, soldier, for all you've done,

For battles fought and wars you’ve won.

For guarding dreams, for standing tall,

We owe you everything—our all.

Though words can never quite repay,

We honor you in every way.
