Dietrich Bonhoeffer,

I am grateful for your faithfulness.

You were strong and stood your ground of truth and integrity.

You’re quoted and admired,

and continue to be, all these decades later.

You studied the scriptures,

and delivered God’s Word.

You served others with purpose,

always aiming to exhibit patience and grace.

Your life on earth was cut short,

so that your life in Heaven could be extended.

Bless you brother,

and I look forward to meeting you one day.

You are a historical hero!

Yes, that was a good movie. May we never fear the cost of discipleship. “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭21‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
