Grandparents
It’s Who We Are
”let’s go buddy,
grab the bait,
can’t be late,”
“catch lots of fish,
for us it’s the dish,”
a movie or two,
popcorn for me,
popcorn for you!!
to the lake,
off we go,
to the couch,
watching the show;
fishing rods,
slimy worms,
romantic scenes,
a heart squirms,
a pap in his glory,
making a fish story,
with a little boy,
who bring much joy;
and nana beaming,
with love in her heart,
enjoying the movie,
from the start,
with a little girl,
her precious pearl,
grandparents we are,
it’s never too far,
to travel and see,
to travel and be,
with those littles,
who made,
a grandparent,
of me, ❤️
this one just came unplanned, got the idea from two friends, nana’s, who were watching movies with their granddaughters, 😊😊, thank you for taking the time to read, if you’re a grandparent, hope it touched ya, ❤️❤️
