She remembers her vivacious youth, as tears silently dampen her wrinkled cheeks
In her mind's eye she sees herself as she once was, young and eager, like newly ripened fruits reaching for eager hands
Life floated by then, like passing ships. Now to time she sadly implores; what happened to my youthful exuberance!
Exhausted, she wonders in quiet reminiscence as teardrops splash on breasts that no longer saluted the sky
Now, as she watches the grandchildren flitting like colorful butterflies betwixt her carefully tended rose garden
Comes upon the wind the grim reaper. She was not ready, needed more time to hug her loved ones. One child turns, her favorite, runs to her...hugs her
Exclaiming, "Grandma, I love you". She surrendered her existence as her peace-filled eyes closed for the last time on this side of the veil!

this is the sad reality, our day of exit must come, we just hope that it will be peaceful and painless
Lovely and well-wrought!
Death should not be feared, yet the fear of the unknown is human in nature,
