Grace

A fantasy’s spin

By Lesley KaplanPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

I see under the haze of a fantasy’s spin

My eyes blocked by the I

I am within

Shrouding the true vision

So that I always settle for false division

See, Ive always known you

Speration is the trickiest illusion

Blinding us from the underlying fact

That there is no me, there is no you

The shortest distance between two points

Is the enlightening realization that there are no points at all

Connecting the dots makes everything busier

Makes everything harder, not easier.

But before all opposites and absolutes

Before we picked the forbidden fruit

Before we fell into the ultimate confusion

Everything was us in a dance of interplay and inclusion

So I’m sending a prayer through time and space

For a deity to remind us of what couldagain take place

To feel our hearts move back into place

So that er know the further we fall into love

The closer we are to grace.
