CAST YOUR EYES UP AT ME

GAZE AND ADORE, WORSHIP

FOR I AM WHITE, MALE

AND STRAIGHT

~

I DO NOT CARE, NO EMPATH

NO SIMP FOR YOUR FEELINGS

I CAP AND WON'T STOP

UNTIL YOU SEE

~

MY RIGHT IS MY PRIVILEGE

MY BIRTH WAS NO ACCIDENT

NO TRICK, I WAS BORN

INTO AN ELITE CLASS

~

OF ABSOLUTE MORONS

HELLBENT ON INSISTING

THAT RESISTING

IS EQUAL TO VANITY

~

ON ANY THAT STAND AGAINST ME

ON ALL WHO WOULD BE FREE

FROM THE SHACKLES

FROM THE NORMS I PROJECT

~

DO NOT REJECT THE MORALS

FOR I CAP AND WON'T STOP

DO NOT REJECT MY WAY

FOR I CAP AND WON'T STOP

~

AS I SHOOT DOWN THE LOWEST

AND CLING TO ONLY THE HIGHEST

I AM RIGHT, I AM THE RIGHT

I AM RIGHTEST AND WON'T BE LEFT

~

OUT

~

AND STILL I FEEL IT —

THE NEED TO BUY MY WAY BACK IN

~

I PAY MY MEMBERSHIP FEES

TO KEEP ME SAFE

TO HIDE MY PAST

AS ANYTHING LESS THAN A 1%ER

~

THEY ARE OUT TO GET ME

THE IMMORAL LEFT

RHETORIC METRIC-“ESORETIC”—I USE IT RIGHT, EVEN IF I DON’T

DON'T LISTEN TO FREE THINKING RADICALS

~

WHO WANTS TO BE RADICAL

WHEN YOU CAN BE

PATRIOTICAL

I DO AS I AM TOLD

WHICH MAKES ME FREER

THAN YOUzz

The voice you've created is intense and completely captures that idea of someone clinging to an invented sense of being "rightest." It feels like a brilliant piece of satire.

  • All those Don't Tread On Me license plates sure have a mighty high opinion of the masked, unidentified ICE officers pulling people off the streets into unmarked vans, don't they?

lol. Is this satire or nonfiction? can't tell! Well done, friend.

Great work all around and how true and honest you are in this work.

Ugh - far too real buddy...painfully witty and insightful stuff!

Oh Paul- might be too close to be satire

Damn it Paul we threw all your tea into a harbor so I didn’t have to listen to this very apt commentary!! (This is a joke that you’re Scottish, a plot point that will feature heavily if I ever write the follow up to the destroyer of worlds)

I appreciate this. You dialed right in on the insecurity that fuels white supremacists

This is such a sharp, biting piece. You absolutely nailed the tone.
