Good Morning Today Is Your Day

The sun is peaking through the blue skies

And as the sun arises.

The painted sky of fire red,

And powder blue,

Possibilities for the day are infinity.

One needs not dream of

The things they want to be

Just be it!

Like birds singing their favorite songs

Flying from tree to tree

With no worries in the world

Because they know they will find food.

Just like we know we will

Find opportunities,

That we can grow,

We can become better,

We can change the world

Just by enriching someone else’s life,

By the kindness that we give to others

Like little perfectly wrapped gifts.

Hold on tightly like a giant roller coaster dropping 100 feet down

We can hold on tightly to hope.

This is our day,

To walk with an extra pep in our step,

Be carefree and indulge in our favorite self-care,

A little extra self-compassion for ourselves when we fall short,

And look back at the painted sky

And now, today is our wonderous day

And we have got everything inside
