Gone.

As Simple As...

One, Two, Three, Four,

Watch you walk out the door.

One, Two, Three, Four,

A person vanished, no one saw.

Like a crack in the road,

You should stay silent.

Like a breeze in the night,

You should go unnoticed.

To disappear into obscurity,

Takes all that you can master.

To vanish before their eyes,

Takes full on clever trickery.

One, Two, Three, Four,

Watch you walk out the door.

One, Two, Three, Four,

A person vanished, no one saw.

Now say goodbye to your loved ones,

They do not matter now.

Like a candle cast aside,

You’re smothered ’til your gone.

Each tiny flame that grows,

Extinguished until it’s dead.

One, Two, Three, Four,

Watch you walk out the door.

One, Two, Three, Four,

A person vanished, no one saw.

Like catching smoke, impossible.

Each tiny cloud that rises,

Should be taken care of.

The roads are long,

The roads are twisted,

But never let them seize you.

One, Two, Three, Four,

Watch you walk out the door.

One, Two, Three, Four,

A person vanished, no one saw.

I love the repetition, it adds so much weight to the message.
