Golden Symphonies of Time
A Poem by Johnny Lemoine

My tail in between my legs, laughing at the night, at the moon , laughing at this blank canvas, at feeling empty
And yeah, I inked a thousand lines, a few crazy scribbles, all in color rippling like waves , yet I have nothing, but a hand and a paintbrush that misbehave
Tomorrow will be different, I’ll paint kaleidoscopes with imploding hues of hope, laughing with joy at a full canvas , covered with unstoppable beauty
tick
tock
tick
tock
seconds
hours
days
the sun rises
it sets into
golden symphonies of time that I can no longer find, and yet another day passes, but this time I wake in the middle of the night
wait... wait!
beautiful sunsets need cloudy skies too , and what if what I needed to do, was to celebrate the grey, to paint those reds, yellows , and all those blues
ten thousand colors and a perfect painting, same as every other night, but this time they all feel new to me, because this time, this time I opened up my eyes
to the beautiful
and painful
creative process
that never
dies
