When he was young,
He was dumb,
He did bad things just for fun,
Not realizing the ones he hurt,
Apologies now do not work,
He used to rob and steal,
Luckily he was never killed,
He sold drugs and ran the streets,
Lie to his girl while he would cheat,
He was mean to everyone he would meet,
One day he had a gun in his face,
He prayed to God for saving grace,
The man knocked him out and walked away,
When he woke,
His pockets were broke,
Missing his watch and chain,
Only had himself to blame,
He decided then it was time to change,
He went to church,
Got a job and went to work,
He prays now night and day,
Thanks the lord he got away,
He dont know how he deserved it,
Hes just thankful God thought he was worth it,
Years later living his best life,
With His two kids and beautiful wife,
Still prays every morning and every night,
They all do together,
A family life he prays last forever,
The past still haunts him from time to time,
But prayer pushes it out of his mind,
From the life he got out of through God above,
From hate and crime God brought him love,
God brought hime peace,
Got him off the streets,
He has been blessed and so can you,
No matter what youve done or what you do,
GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH,

i work alot got a family of 5 jus scrape by but we do good on here to write poems i write them alot anyway so maybe this way other ppl can read them too

It's difficult for me to know where to start with a review of this book as it was, for me, an entirely unique experience and one that I'll probably never have again. I don't want that to be interpreted as unenjoyable but it has left me scratching my head a little and ruminating on its content, its themes and its characters.
