God help me

love inside me

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 1 min read

A friend came to me one day when I needed peace

He asked me about my pain in the land of my ancestors?

And if I break his promise, will I turn into a long letter?

And if I erase his identity, will I turn into a dead end?

My friend, do not ignite love within me, for I will suffer rejection

And do not curse me, for I have been afflicted with a heart full of regret that made it break its promises

If my fate is lowered by the injustice of my brothers, who will fulfill the promises?

Who knows the tragedies of my existence and fills me with thunder?

My friend, do not go away from me, for the darkness of your night has become envied

And from your darkness, sadness has bound me

My friend, come and help me, for stagnation has overcome me

And the cruelty of the Arabs has spread my wings and the cold has struck me

And with it, I have ignited every sadness that was present in me

O light of twilight, remove those shackles from me and have mercy on me from the Lord of time

And release from me the jailer who made me not fight the Jews

O Lord, keep away from me those who betrayed my covenant and imprisoned me

And wipe from my heart the sadness that was bound in my chest

And do not ask about me, for you are the one who betrayed me, my friend, and filled me with aversion?

Who said that evil exists in my land

The Creator of the creatures above us, and He is the Lord of the universe and existence?

O Lord, help us, for I have become helpless without support. Do not deprive me of Your mercy, for I have become an exile, O Lord.
