God Bless America
opportunity, that energy slipping,
racism is sleeping dormant,
creeping sneaking in our culture.
America the mixing pot, race is all over,
laced with stereotypes.
heated moments gets the cold shoulder,
? was caught breathing,
heat pulled out his cold shoulder.
The stories the story tellers tell
The kids that's judged based on appearance and how they spell, a name, no a legacy
I want there to not be a death penalty
for skipping a stop sign
Save for true crime and not looking past the white line,
for time talks of these days,
hate molest skin like sunrays
They wanted a lighter sunkissed face
Love was made for everyday so
God bless America and not just on sunday.
