So today was my interview for an Advocate position at Louisiana's non profit organization STAR (Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response) and it went very well and I was chosen! So here's a little poem to celebrate!
Advocate
To be there
To Listen
To Believe
To Understand
--
I pledge To
holding up
my Right hand
--
To be willing
To Support
To Learn
To Give
--
I will protect
your right
to survive, to live
--
I have something
To give
To learn
To share
--
Now that
I have been
given the chance
I plan
To be there!
