Go Away

Whispers of Departure

when shadows fall and troubles cloud the day

dear life asks me to go away

where can I mend the fragments of my heart

maybe I should find a brand new start?

flicker in the night dares to stay.

winds that try to sweep away.

as trees become ethereal sculptures grand.

as if the universe rests in your hand.

beneath the cloak of clouds, the river glides.

day turns dusk and bids the sun goodnight.

peaceful light and shadow's flow.

stretches its arms over valleys far below.

fields stretch out, a quilt of green and gold.

each hue and shade a story to be told.

the sun kissed sky

gives me a hifi

soft as a lover's touch the dunes arise

footprints fade as daylight softly dies
