I want to melt your glaciers

Slowly

Over time

With the warmth of your heart on mine

.

I will protect you when the ice breaks through

Stand beside you as the mountain falls

It’s all the same to me. Sun or snow

I dont feel the cold at all

.

All i see is you

I love the imagery in this. The idea that you'll melt them but that you'll also help them as they potentially fall to pieces. That idea of the thaw releasing and overwhelming. Great stuff.

  • Awww, this was so sweet! Lovely poem!

  • Beautifully stated. It makes me think of "Frozen" & the song "Let It Go": "the snow never bothered me anyway." Only in your expression, the cold is no bother because of your relationship with the other, while for Elsa in "Frozen" it's about protecting others from her (& herself from them).

  • Such a beautiful sentiment elegantly expressed. Great job.
