Giving Way to My Storms
Learning to Register When Things Aren’t OK

Even the most idle
And passive clouds
Form and stack
On and on,
One on top of the other,
To ultimately burst
Under such percipitation
And give way
To horrific storms.
Unlike most,
I’m taking more ownership
Of mine.
And allowing as much
My storms to take stage
And registering
And being present with them,
Just so they themselves
Can give way
To renewed, sunny days
Of love and understanding
That are only happening more and more.
