Gives Me Hell

Gives Me Hell

I wake up every morning

From a nightmare about you

Racing heart and sweating too

And you’re still probably heedless

Of all your past mistakes

And all I do is ache

When I see your face

It does give me hell

It does give me hell

When you walk my way

It does give me hell

It does give me hell

Now where’s your self-awareness?

And where’s that apology?

And did it ever get to me?

You’ve always made me tense up

Your yelling and your threats

I won’t do that with you in bed.

And truth be told I miss you

And truth be told I’m lying

When I see your face

It does give me hell

It does give me hell

When you walk my way

It does give me hell

It does give me hell

If you find a girl that's worth a damn and you treat her well

Then she’s a fool, oh just like me

It does give me hell
