Give Me A Break
A New Series About Things I find Absurd and preposterous

I am starting a new series of articles, that I am calling "Give Me A Break".
I will be addressing the things that I find absurd, and perposturous. I will start with this issue, because I was in contact with my ex-sister in-law on facebook. And she did the same thing my ex- husband did to his son, to her son.
I was wondering if the writing world had any opinion, on this topic, as well as my facebook readership. The topic is as follows.
DO YOU CALL THE POLICE ON YOUR OWN CHILDREN?
My son was all grown up, and 27 years old, and when he split with his wife, and went to his father for help, he called the police on him, and had him thrown out of his house.
I ultimately helped my son, and I was glad to do so. I only wished he would have came to me, before he went to his father's.
And to top it all off, he went to court, to have a restraining order put on his own son.
Who does that?
Fast forward twenty something years. My ex's sister had children late in life. She is 62, my ex is 76. She has a 27 year old son. She just had him arrested for bad behavior, and they go to court in January.
Again-
Who does that?
Don't the police have enough to do, to fight violent crime and get the bad guys, that people are always complaining that they don't do correctly.
Do they have to be worried about sorting out your family problems too?
Do they have to be involved with raising your children??

If it was criminal behavior, I would call the police. My stepbrother has been in and out of jail and we can't do anything for him.
