Give and take, a delicate dance
A balance of love, a chance to prance
One hand opens wide, to offer and share
The other receives, with gratitude and care
In the giving, we find a sense of pride
A feeling of purpose, that we cannot hide
In the taking, we find a sense of need
A recognition of our humanity indeed
But when the balance falters, and one outweighs
The dance becomes a struggle, in endless ways
And take with gratitude, from this precious land
For in the give and take, we find our way
To a harmony of love, that brightens each new day.
