Ghost Jar

1, you placed me in a ghost jar.

2, you let me rot inside.

3, years later you still haven’t finished your locked door, you keep adding finishing touches to keep it from being opened

4, moments that felt like eternity, stolen from me as you mock the pain you inflicted upon me

5, I slipped out of the jar

6, you fell into the deep well, scared

8, we skipped a step because now you got your way again

7, time is not adding up, numbers don’t matter anymore, adding is subtracting

10, I guess you can have the whole jar

11, I am sure you’ll give me some of my plasma wrapped in plastic

12, inch by inch, my ghost turns into mud

13, you sure know how to manipulate, manage, manifest new ghosts into your jar

The first slap hits the heart/hardest

Your non/apology in an echo that drops the sound of our death

A glass smith cannot stop the sound of destruction in a ghost jar
