School lunch is so disgusting

I never really know why

It’s hinest not that hard

Every year in high school

It got worse and worse

Like just cook it right

One day in lunch period

I walked through the line

The ladies were making pizza

It’s Friday, so I’m excited

Obviously first in the line

The kitchen smells oddly different

The first couple pies also

My mind quickly started changing

Second thoughts were hitting crazy

Then a ghastly feeling appeared

My stomach started feeling queasy

I took one long hook

And much to my chagrin

The garlic overtook my slice

surreal poetry
