Gentle Awakenings

Misty Mornings

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

dancing on a gentle breeze

birds singing in the distance

spring envelopes buds on trees

shaking winter's staunch resistance

~

flowers mingle gracefully

welcome subtle blooms of rebirth

season’s baton - passed patiently

mother nature's gift to earth

~

sweet scents exude on dewy morns

carefree clouds meander by

beauty unfolds in many forms

as the sun smiles from the sky

~

subtle signs spring has arrived

awaking new worlds of wonder

nature wears a thin disguise

from the sleepy spell they're under

~

a foggy mist rests gently

tiny pedals dipped in dew

bees and butterflies contently

make their springtime grand debut

~

flowers wave their warmest welcome

natures dance of unity

wonder wakes feeling adventuresome

the worlds ambiguity

nature poetry

Lovely. And our apple tree & two dwarf cherries are in full bloom. (The Naked Ladies, tulips & irises have risen as well!)
