Genovesa Island

Paradise

By Andrea Corwin Published 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

We climbed the rocky cliff

Slick and jagged black lava

There they sat

In nests and trees

calmly observing us ,

observing them, in their

safe haven.

No fear from

Galapagos birds

Astonishing, close-ups

Posing

Nazca, Red, and Blue-footed Boobies

with Great Frigate Birds

all sheltering their chicks

I have never seen a bird like this that I can recall...not even in pictures. Thank you for taking me to the Galapagos!
