Watching the news…

I fear for my trans siblings…

The younger ones…

I was part of the generation

They looked up to…

My generation had no representation

In Hollywood or politics…

We were considered unicorns

Or someone's horror story…

These young ones look up to us…

They depend on us…

We have to fight…

If not for us…

But for them…

They are innocent and pure…

They don’t deserve the hate…

There is nothing wrong with them…

They are perfect…

So if the government comes for them…

We will band together…

To prevent the genocide of our next generation…

Know I stand with you…

You are not alone…

And when you feel like the darkness is winning…

Remember these words…

You are not alone…

Please survive…

Don’t let them win…

Live to spite them…

Be petty and win…
